The Sol Design Language is all about the contrast of speed and off road,
Hard lines meets soft surface,muscline back meets athlethic nose
Curved wheel arches meets hard back and front cuts.
Driver Vision
The whole car is designed arround the driver-maximum visuality ,then maximum approach in minimum time to each important unit in the car.
Hand made
The Sol was sculptured by Amos Boaz in 1:1 scale,only after we took slices from the 3d cad files, from this sculpt the moulds were taken.
One of a kind car
The Sol T1 was designed from scratch,
It was designed under the FIA regulations to fit the T1 category.
The Sol T1 is designed from carbon fiber.
The Sol Concept was to combine speed and off road, having those two help us to create contrast and drama.
The Sol is designed to cross the desert in high speed it is designed to last long to survive in the outback,it is solidly built.
all the shell design can be taken off in just a few minutes.
The Sol is designed from the driver point of view,riding in the desert 200 km/h you must see very well all the time what is coming infront of you,
but the driver must be located also as low as possible for kipping the mass low,the bonnet must be low,while the wheel travel is high-making the bonnet and mud cover going up.
Those issue gives hard time to find a strong charcter to the thin nose as a result of the reminded isues.
the nose is thin as well inorder to allow better aproach for stip climbing or for landing from high jumps.
